Function and Application of Prestar
Pregelatinized Starch is Starch that has been mechanically processed to rupture all or part of the granules in the presence of water and heat, and subsequently dried, we called it hydrothermal modification of native starch. Compared with Native starch, Pregelatinised Starch has improved functionality, including flowability, compressibility, and cold water solubility. It is available as a white, odourless and tasteless, moderately fine powder.
Function and Application of Stargel
Starch ethers are used in mineral-based binding systems such as gypsum and cement:
- Gypsum, lime, cement and various combinations are typical applications where Stargel® starches are used to immediately and reliably improve the consistency of the desired finish- product properties.
- Stargel® increases the efficiency of conventional water retention agents and improves the adhesive strength of combinations of building materials for difficult surfaces.
